Event Description

The Marion BBQ Rendezvous is an annual event on the first Saturday in June at Lowe Park from 11AM to 9PM.  Proceeds go to the Kiwanis Miracle League at Prospect Meadows where kids with disabilities get to play baseball.

Great Food
This year's event features BBQ from Willie Ray's Q Shack, Bambbq, Bob's BBQ Emporium, SugarFire, and Hatchets.  Other assorted food, ice cream, and beverages (water, soda, and a variety of national and local brews) will be available.

Great Music
Our musical guests are The Janeys (11AM to 2PM), CJ Ryder and the Pastmasters (2:30PM to 5PM), and The Dogs of Society (6PM to 9PM).  The Dogs are the Ultimate Elton John tribute band.  If you're an Elton fan you don't want to miss this FREE show.

Family Fun
We'll have face painting fun for the kids.

Free Admission
The Dogs of Society are from St. Louis, and a typical price for their show would be $40 a ticket.  But for one night only you can bring a blanket or bag chair and enjoy their music for free.

Parking
Limited parking available on-site but golf cart shuttles will be available at the Irish Drive parking lot (north of the new YMCA).

Have fun and Do Good
Come out for a day of fun, get some BBQ sauce on that shirt, enjoy some music, and help us fund the Kiwanis Miracle League at Prospect Meadows where kids with disabilities can participate in the Great American Pastime.
