Cocoa, Cookies & Carols

Miracles in Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Swisher (Miracles) is getting into the holiday spirit with Cocoa, Cookies & Carols on Saturday, December 10, 4-5:30 p.m. at the Miracles in Motion Farm, a 76-acre spread located two miles west of Swisher (exit 10 off Interstate 380).

Visit some of the therapy horses, and the miniature horses, in the Upmier Indoor Arena. Some horses will be in their stalls in the barn, which is decorated for the holidays. The horses’ “stockings” will be hung on each stall for donations to assist with their upkeep and care. Have a cup of cocoa and cookies and enjoy carols sung by one of Miracles’ board members, Karla Miller, and friends.

Right after this event join the “mini” horses at the Swisher, Iowa, Lighted Parade (starts at 6 p.m.).

Miracles, in operation since 1988, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing programs and services to children, young adults, and veterans with a wide range of physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges.
