Event Description

Road Scholars is a brand new band led by UI Jazz head Dr. Damani Phillips, performing the Music of Spyro Gyra, a band that ignited his interest in jazz as a young musician.


Join Iowa’s Jazz Station for free, family-friendly jazz concert in Cedar Rapids’ Noelridge Park in August. Each concert features both a headliner and a student jazz ensemble in KCCK’s Young Artist Series.


Bring your lawn chair and a picnic, or enjoy refreshments from a rotating assortment of food trucks and vendors; and groove to the sounds of a diverse lineup of our community's top bands.
