Hera Aviation is a software startup founded in August of 2022 located in Iowa that is developing a web and mobile based Peer-to-Peer and Peer-to-Business networking application that will connect the various facets of the private aviation industry. Long term plans for the application development include features such as: matchmaking renters to aircraft, instructors to students, renters to insurance, and charter operations to potential clients. With this mission, Hera intends to build an ecosystem that will allow the various demographics within the private aviation field to more effectively work together and provide enhanced visibility to businesses operating in this space.

Hera is looking forward to the Closed Alpha launch of their platform during the second half of 2023. With this in mind, Hera is working to grow awareness of the application and is actively seeking more pilots and rental facilities to participate in the upcoming Closed Alpha trials along with the planned Open Beta testing to take place early 2024. Features planned for the release in the Closed Alpha stage are to include: aircraft renting functionality, aircraft scheduling and listing services, aircraft check-out and check-in functions, pilot and aircraft documentation sharing and management, in-app contactless payment, and renter/owner instant messaging.
