Event Description

Join us for Journeys. The August meeting will feature a music therapy workshop facilitated by Board Certified Music Therapist, Naomi Davis, MT-BC, representing Music Speaks. Naomi will guide the group in a discussion about music therapy, how music can impact our moods, mental processing, and emotions, and offer ways to incorporate music into our everyday lives in a productive way.

The meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood: 520 Wilson Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404.  Cost is free.

Journeys is a social group which offers opportunities to gather with others who have experienced a loss. Monthly programs vary from crafts to self-care tips, seminars, and presentations by community experts. Share a safe space with others on a grief journey. Tell your story. All are welcome.
