NEW Walk Around the Lake Oak Hill Cemetery Tour

NEW TOUR. Weather permitting. Did you know at one time Oak Hill Cemetery had a lake? It was later drained and converted to burial spaces but the area has a rich and diverse ethnic history. Walk with us as we share the history from this time period. Meet at the grassy area south of the Douglas family mausoleum. The tour will require walking on uneven surfaces at a leisurely pace so please wear appropriate footwear. Reservations not required.

 With ongoing construction on Mt. Vernon Road, the 15^th Street entrance may not be open. Please arrive by the entrance at the top of the hill or the 19^th Street entrance gate.
