Dietz Soliz

Born into a musical Quad Cities family, guitarist and singer Dietz Soliz started playing Spanish Classical music when he was 7 years old. 58 years later, his tastes have turned to Rock, Blues, R&B, and Funk, all with a Latin flair. Backing him is a rock-solid rhythm section, featuring drummer Dave Soliz's impressive jazz chops and Jorge Tapia's conga locking in with Jeff Booker's street-wise bass. Manuel Lopez III's keyboards builds the harmonic foundation, and the horns of Ben McKay and Crooked Cactus' Tony Ramirez bring that special sauce to the party. Topping it all off with Cherie Berry's luscious vocals, the Dietz Soliz Band is sure to light it up when they take our Show Lounge stage.
