Catch cinematic excellence at this showcase of diverse, thought-provoking films from talented filmmakers from across the country, all with an Iowa Connection.
Join us in celebrating a carefully curated selection of gripping dramas, wry comedies, inspiring documentaries and edgy videos. We’ve reeled in compelling works with a remarkable diversity of genre, subject matter and length, created by talented professional, hobbyist and student filmmakers.
CRIFF is more than just entertaining, boundary-breaking screenings...
The experience includes engaging with filmmakers and other special guests, exploring new perspectives, and helping us foster the independent filmmaking community. Twenty-seven trophies, including Audience Choice, are presented at the Saturday night Eddy Awards Ceremony sponsored by Farmers State Bank. The spotlight shines on young filmmakers during Student Cinema Sunday, and one student takes home a $1000 Collins Road Theatres Scholarship.
