Event Description

Join caregivers to learn how to regain hope and build resilience when dealing with the challenges of caring for someone with dementia or other cognitive impairment.  Learn skills thath can help you navigate your caregiving journey with healing and hope.  This 9-session series features videos and discussion based on the groundbreaking book , Loving Someone Who Has Dementia: How to Find Hope While Coping with Stress and Grief by Pauline Boss, PhD, a leading expert on caregiver grief.  This series is facilitated by Center volunteer Paul Swearingen and Mary Ann Grobstich, Center Caregiver Community Facilitator.  Registration is required by March 1.  Limited to 10 participants.  Call the Center at 319-221-8866 or email at fcgc@mercycare.org to register.
