Renter Rights & Responsibilities Workshop

What should -- or shouldn't -- be in your apartment lease? Can you hold back your rent if your landlord doesn't fix a problem? Who can you report housing discrimination to? You'll get answers to these questions and so many more. 
Iowa Legal Aid will present for 45 minutes about your rights as a renter. Then you'll learn more during 15-minute segments by Waypoint Services, Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission, and City of Cedar Rapids Housing Services. There will be a Q&A at the end of the presentations.
