Event Description

Herbs growing in our bioregion can be some of our best helpers in difficult times.

Find out how these plants can be used in first aid situations. This class gives a hands-on approach to herbal first aid, mostly in minor situations like cuts, bumps, and household events, also in dealing with some burns, pains, and digestive upsets.

We will identify and prepare medicinal herbs for hypothetical scenarios of need and look at crisis situations that call for quick at-hand knowledge and decision making.

You are invited no matter your level of gardening experience or knowledge of the herbal arts. All are welcome.

Please contact us before the class if any accommodation is needed for inclusion.
