Event Description

Business leaders are increasingly faced with mental health issues that are hard to handle - how to help someone that is struggling, how to educate their workforce, and how to navigate from a legal standpoint. We will explore mental health in the workplace; identifying situations, help for human resource, and navigating insurance coverage and access to mental health care. Panelists will include Kathy Johnson (Executive Director, Abbe Center for Community Mental Health) and Terri Davis (Attorney and Senior VIce President, Shuttleworth-Ingersoll). This program will take place at Prairiewoods retreat and conference center in Hiawatha.
