Event Description

Join Cedar Amateur Astronomers on Saturday, May 25, as we welcome guest speaker Cole Armstrong Graduate Research Assistant from the University of Iowa as he presents: "Spectroscopy: The Colorful Way to View the Cosmos."

This event begins at 8:30 PM at the Eastern Iowa Observatory and Learning Center southwest of Mt Vernon. It is free with no reservation required. Weather permitting, after the presentation CAA members will be operating several high quality telescopes to view some of the beautiful objects in the Iowa night skies. A sky tour in the outdoor planetarium area will show guests the constellations.

Armstrong's presentation will also be on Zoom and a link can be found on the events page at https://www.cedar-astronomers.org/events
