Eastside Gaming Day

Come gather with your Eastside neighbors for an afternoon of gaming and community joy! From 1-4PM on March 29th, the Eastside Neighborhood Association invites our neighbors to enjoy this free community event, with games and snack provided by Diversions!

Stop by and enjoy:

• Dozens of games to choose from
• Game tables hosted by other Eastside neighbors
• Snacks and drinks to fuel the fun
• Games for all ages!

This event is presented by the Eastside Neighborhood Association, with support from the City of Iowa City, and is sponsored by Hills Bank.

About Eastside Neighborhood Association:
In partnership with the City of Iowa City, Neighborhood Associations help strengthen connections—both between neighbors and between neighborhoods and city government. The Eastside Neighborhood Association works alongside the City to address local priorities, exchange information, provide input on public projects, and take part in community discussions. The City’s role is to serve as a resource, helping Neighborhood Associations access services and coordinate efforts for initiatives such as public art, neighborhood gatherings, beautification projects, cleanups, and other requests that align with our City’s Strategic Plan.

About Diversions:
Diversions is a locally owned gaming lounge, located in Coralville, that has been providing gaming events to the Iowa City area since 2023. Owned by Sean Finn & Nolan Petersen (both residents of the Eastside!), Diversions provide a variety of tabletop games in a welcoming and accessible environment by creating an intentionally inclusive space that fosters fun, connection, and a sense of belonging.
