Join Jason Snell on June 10 at 7 p.m. at CSPS in Cedar Rapids for "Concentric: Transcultural Resonance in Sound Practices," a free public event exploring how cultures use sound to guide consciousness. The evening includes a research-based presentation highlighting Meskwaki, Christian, Vedic, Asian and rave sound practices, followed by an immersive biofeedback sound performance in the CSPS Black Box Theater. He'll be joined by Cece Zhang from New York University. This project is supported by the Iowa Arts Council's Art Project Grant.
