Join more than 60 local and national artists for our fifth annual Iowa Choreography Festival (ICF) on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at Lauridsen Amphitheater at Waterworks Park! It's a free event and kicks off at 5 p.m. with art vendors, food trucks, live music, and donation-based drinks. At 6 p.m., the show kicks off with 13 collaborative dance works that incorporate live music, feature local costume designers, 7-foot puppets, and art installations, offering the festival a unique and must-see experience!

Iowa Choreography Festival is a nonprofit that relies on donations to support all 66 artists and their visions. Offering studio space, materials, housing, transport, and stipends. ICF is a residency program that takes the visions of the artist applicants and creates a space for them to collaborate to create work. It all culminates in a beautiful and energized showing that we hope you will come to see!
