Cedar Amateur Astronomers invite you to join us on Zoom for our free public night on December 13 at 7:30 PM.
Rick Whitten of the Ames Area Astronomy Club will join us via Zoom to discuss an astronomy perspective of climate change. Climate change is a serious scientific issue which has several intersections with astronomy including black body radiation, atmospheric windows, Milankovitch cycles, and even cosmic rays. A knowledge of astronomy lends itself to an appreciation of climate change science.
