Arts Iowa City/ArtiFactory’s first “Small Works Show” features a variety of artworks measuring no more than 12 x12 square inches. The work of 29 local artists is on display: ceramics, collage, pastels, linocut prints, watercolor, acrylics, oils, and other art forms. The show doubles as an art market. Come enjoy the splendid creativity and variety of the Iowa City art scene and browse for gifts for those hard-to-shop-for people in your life.
The show runs through December. There will be an opening reception on Friday, Dec.5, from 6-8 p.m. Many of the artists will be present. The gallery is open Wednesday and Friday 4-6 p.m. and Saturday 1-3 p.m., or by appointment on the website (artifactory.artsiowacity.org). Admission is free.
