Event Description

Volunteer during Project Holiday to help us provide meals for our neighbors to celebrate the holidays! The 2025 Project Holiday distribution will be held at CommUnity Food Pantry at Pepperwood Plaza 1045 Highway 6 East, Iowa City. We will be distributing entrées, as well as side dishes like stuffing mix, onions, potatoes, and more. The distribution will take place the week of December 15, 2025 at the following times: Monday, December 15th Noon - 4:30 PM Tuesday, December 16th Noon - 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18th 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM Friday, December 19th Noon - 4:30 PM Saturday, December 20th 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM CommUnity Food Bank is also seeking volunteer delivery drivers to distribute Project Holiday meals. Each delivery shift lasts about one to two hours and includes approximately 5 to 10 deliveries within Johnson County. This is a low-contact volunteer opportunity.
