Event Description

Join us for a new type of Friday Night Out wheel workshop! In this workshop, participants who have taken previous wheel workshops or feel comfortable centering will be able to work on a specific form– incense holders and or ring dishes! Learn from a step-by-step broken down demo of how to pull and shape the form by your instructor, Claire. Spend the rest of the time at the wheel forming your own. Each participant will create 1-2 pieces out of 5 tries. Each piece will be processed through our kilns; once after it dries and a second time with a low fire glaze of your choice (applied by staff), exclusive to this type of workshop! Finished projects will be available for pick up after 3 weeks at ICCGS. This 2-hour workshop is for ages 21+. BYOB! This workshop is recommended for participants who have previously taken a FNO or WTI workshop, and or feel comfortable centering. Friday: September 25 Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Cost: $55.00/per person Location: Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio Pre-registration is required. 21+
