This series presents the history of the US Constitution, from the preceding Articles of Confederation to the ratification of the 27th Amendment. Attend any or all sessions; please register for each session you would like to attend. Membership required.

This presentation will present the civil liberties component of the US Constitution, i.e. personal freedoms. Sometimes it is just as important to know the why of the law as well as what the law is. This presentation traces the history of when and why the Bill of Rights came into existence and why the amendments are numbered as they are.
