Event Description

Join us for an immersive and enriching journey to discover an array of spring edibles nestled within a local park.

Along a one-mile guided tour through Hickory Hill Park, you will learn to identify new edible friends, understand how to use them, and maybe even take some home for supper. We will discuss safe and ethical foraging as we explore key principles of the Honorable Harvest, Leave No Trace, animism and legality.

You are invited no matter your level of outdoor experience. All are welcome.

Please contact us before class if mobility accommodations may be needed.
