18th Annual Mount Vernon Chili Cookoff

Join the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group in uptown Mount Vernon for the 18th Annual Chili Cookoff on Saturday, October 19th! Team cooking will take place from 11am-4pm, and the public is invited to mingle and taste from 4-7pm. Admission to the event is free, with chili tasting tickets, beer, soda, and water available for purchase!

There will also be a Bags Tournament with registration starting at 1pm and the tournament beginning at 2pm.

The schedule of events for the day is as follows:

11:00am - Team set-up and cooking begin
1:00pm - Bags Tournament registration
2:00pm - Bags Tournament begins
4:00pm - Public tasting begins
6:30pm - People's Choice voting ends
6:45pm - Announcement of winners!
