55+ Movie Day: “The Apartment.”  Come ring in the NewYear with this classic starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine.
Widely recognized as one of the best films of all time, this hilarious story follows an ambitious yet lonely insurance clerk (played by Jack Lemmon) who tries to climb his way up the corporate ladder—by loaning his apartment out to the company bigwigs so they can use it to cheat on their wives. That all goes to shambles when he realizes the woman he's fallen for (played by Shirley MacLaine) is one of said mistresses. It all comes to a conclusion at—you guessed it—a New Year's Eve fete.  

Bridge to Opportunities meets at 2100 1^st Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, directly across from Cottage Grove Place and Cottage Grove Ave.  (This is Refugee City Church, the former Four Oaks building.)  Parking and entrance, including a handicap ramp are at the back of the building.
