A ICCGS Holiday Tradition! For many years, families and friends have gathered at the Iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio to create our annual holiday ornament. What began as a workshop has become a cherished holiday tradition for so many in our community, with participants returning year after year to add a new ornament to their collection. This year's ornament is a glass mitten, pre-cut from white glass and ready for your personal touch. Using colorful glass pieces, stringers, and decorative accents, you'll design a one-of-a-kind ornament that reflects your own style. No two mittens will ever be exactly alike. Whether you're continuing a tradition that's become part of your holiday season or starting a new one with family and friends, this workshop is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Create lasting memories, make something beautiful together, and make a handmade keepsake you'll treasure for years to come. No glass experience is necessary, making this workshop perfect for beginners, families, friends, and anyone looking to add a little creativity to their holiday season. All materials, instruction, firing are included. Your finished mitten will be ready for pickup 3 weeks after your workshop.
