The Vessel: Form and Function

A vessel contains.  It is a form that may seem simple and easily understandable, but its definition has grown to encompass a wide variety of meanings, and vessels can be found in many different materials, sizes, and shapes.  This exhibition explores the wide variety of vessels in the permanent collection and considers the many ways in which we can understand the form.
