We'll be hosting an Open Mic Poetry Night at the Heart House on Friday, October 16th from 6-8pm. Short prose and original songwriting are welcome too. Come share your writing in a safe and supportive environment, or come just to listen and enjoy the words of others. It's a magical thing to see people find their voice and be there to cheer them on. We ask that, in deciding what to read, you "keep it kind" and avoid language that puts others down. Trigger warnings are encouraged for sensitive topics. This event is open to all, with a $5 suggested donation to our sister nonprofit and co-host Farmhouse Art Collective. Your support helps us continue our mission to inspire and empower ordinary people to create and live more creative lives. Thank you!
